Wilmington Sea Dawgs wants you as a volunteer
With its new season fast approaching, the Sea Dawgs are looking for reliable, accountable and enthusiastic game day volunteers (must be at least 18 years of age or older). As a Sea Dawgs’ volunteer, you could work with concession operations, selling tickets, helping with equipment, assisting the staff and scoreboard table, selling merchandise and setting up and tearing down operations. Imagine knowing the players on a first name basis and being on the sidelines to witness first hand all the exciting dunks, three pointers and buzzer-beater shots! This will also be a great opportunity for any sports enthusiast to gain valuable experience within the sports industry or become a vital part of a semi-professional basketball team that is bringing another level of fame and excitement to our beloved home town of Wilmington.

The Wilmington Sea Dawgs’ games are generally played on weekends in the Schwartz Center located in historic, downtown Wilmington.

Become a Teen Elite Volunteer

Wilmington Sea Dawgs wants you as a “Teen Elite” volunteer Wilmington, NC March 4th, 2010- In their first three seasons, the Wilmington Sea Dawgs earned back-to-back-to-back postseason playoff berths. Now, with its fourth season less than two months away, the team is looking for elite level volunteers (ages 15-18) for the 2010 season. Volunteer duties will consist primarily of concessions operations, selling tickets, helping with equipment, assisting the staff, setting up and tearing down operations, etc.
"This will be a great opportunity for an aspiring young adult to gain valuable experience within the sports industry and become an integral part of a semi-professional basketball team that is bringing another level of fame to our beloved home town of Wilmington," says Penny Millis, Operations Manager for the team.

Sea Dawgs Host Spring Break Camp
Wilmington Sea Dawgs Host Spring Break Half Day Skills Camp 2010
Wilmington, NC- The Wilmington Sea Dawgs will be hosting a spring break basketball camp. All boys and girls ages, 7-16, are welcome to unleash their basketball potential.
The camp will be held on Monday March 29 thru Thursday April 2, 2010 at the Wilmington Family YMCA located at 2710 Market Street in Wilmington.
In order to participate in this camp there is a $90 clinic fee for single participants at a special YMCA membership discount and $115 for single participants at a community rate. Before and after care for participants is available at a nominal charge. Registration forms can be obtained from the Sea Dawgs website or at the YMCA.
The clinic includes a Wilmington Sea Dawgs T-shirt, two tickets to a Sea Dawgs home game during the 2010 season, team photo with coaching staff, competition skills, and professional coaching.
This basketball camp is a developmental clinic for players of all levels and abilities. Campers will learn different aspects of the game with emphasis being placed on fundamentals and the team concept of basketball. Campers will also learn new drills to improve their overall skills in an enjoyable, energetic, and positive camp atmosphere.
Brian Williams, Camp Director, is a consensus High School All American from Mount Zion Christian Academy and participated in NBA workouts for the Phoenix Suns and New York Knicks. In 2006 He played in the Treviso, Italy summer league where he earned MVP honors. While in Italy, he averaged 13.2 points per game and earned himself "Rookie of the Year" nominations in 10 games. Brian then took his talent to Rio De Janero Belo Horizonte, Brazil before returning to our Wilmington Sea Dawgs in 2010.
